Posting Photo's.
I have looked at the Forumotion web site and there appears to be some problems with posting pictures, which seem to be linked to individual 'servers', not that I understand a word of it. Looking at the help forum, some people say they have no trouble (like me) while some report various problems that Forumotion have no explanation for. It may depend on whether one is using Firefox, Google, or whatever. It does not seem to be something that I can do anything about on our site, but if it continues Greg, I will keep exploring, I am sure that we all want to see your holiday snaps.
Re: Posting Photo's.
Nice Flat-Rad.
I will keep trying to 'post pics'...sooner or later 'they' will give up trying to stop me.

Pete, it is an abbreviation of Photographs, hence the apostrophe. as in 'innit. Capische?
Your Louts Lane (sorry incipient dyeliax) picture proves that it is Australian problem posting pictures, not an Admin blunder.
We look forward to you avatar making an appearance shortly, if you do not have a suitable image I'm (that ' again) sure we can find something suitable from our vast stock of photographs.
Buford.
Re: Posting Photo's.
Rubbish! The plural of photo is photos. The abbreviation of photographs is photos.
Take one hundred lines: I must learn to apostrophise my apostropheees appropriately, like.

Each time I've tried to post a photograph, this message appears :-

An "Australian problem"?.....I don't think so.
Would 1,000 words do instead?

Miss Australia? After very careful examination, I think I can just make out the "Map of Tasmania".

Tasmania? You old devil!
Seriously; I managed to post a photo without any trouble. The only remaining strange thing about the forum, from my UK-based point of view, seems to be that the "buttons" are in French language.
A big thanks to the glittering Bauble for taking the trouble to create D&D.
Cheers,
Pete.
Re: Posting Photo's.
Very whitty Pete, those damn(!) posts are a nuisance, well they are for the less professional amongst us.
Many thanks for your kind words, I can only hope that we can attract more custom to the forum, before we have to advertise on TNF for members.
Placing of apostrophes is something I try to take care over, however, when I went to school, things that took pictures had not been invented.
I agree with both Greg and yourself about Silverstone, but living so close and holding a season Media Pass makes it an attractive venue for a day out, but is surely lacks atmosphere, I have suggested that they plant a few trees behind the spectator areas to give a bit of background, but all we get is more ersatz buildings. Still they do have plenty of loo's (?) about the place.

Am I missing something here?
Re: Posting Photo's.
That is strange. My keyboard has English letters only.....maybe we need French Letters ?Pete Taylor wrote: The only remaining strange thing about the forum, from my UK-based point of view, seems to be that the "buttons" are in French language.

Re: Posting Photo's.
Posting pho'to's' is now working, although I still may need help with apostrophe's.

Greg,
Why don't you take a drive along the Great Ocean Road & take a look at the Twelve Apostrophes?
Maybe that will help you out if you're all at sea......

Re: Posting Photo's.
D'N,
I drove along the Great Ocean Road [twice], and only saw a dozen or so lumps of rock poking out of the sea. My parentheses are no longer alive, so I can't ask them for help any more. I once drove a Commer, that came to a full stop.

Greg! You should be sentenced for that.
